“David Caplice is one of the most successful pop music managers in Australia. Over his 15 yr career in music he has managed some of the biggest name in Australian pop – Human Nature, Bardot, Guy Sebastian, Jessica Mauboy and David Campbell. David started in the music business in 1990 when he began working at CBS Records as a club promotions representative taking vinyl records to club DJ’s across the country. He soon graduated to radio promotions for CBS before leaving to work with pop group Euphoria who had 3 successive No 1 records in 1994. After that David established Outlaw Records, an independent label distributed by the now defunct Festival Records. Outlaw was a great learning phase for David as he signed young bands such as Baby Sugar Loud, Mother Hubbard and AK Soul and in the process discovered such future stars such as Alex Lloyd and Connie Mitchell (Sneaky Sound System).

After running Outlaw for 3 yrs David then created Caplice Management, the company he still runs today. Caplice Management specializes in the management of pop music artists and began with signing male vocal group Human Nature in 1995. Human Nature were an overnight sensation with their debut album “Telling Everybody” hitting No1 and going 4 x platinum. Other acts to follow were Jackson Mendoza, Popstars girl group Bardot, Sophie Monk. actress come singer Tammin Sursok, crooner David Campbell and alternative songstress Katie Noonan.

David then went on to manage all the artists involved in the first, and most successful, series of Australian Idol. He helped build the careers of Guy Sebastian, Shannon Noll and Paulini and also created the all girl Idol group the Young Divas. David has since continued his association with the show by working with Jessica Mauboy and creatively consulting on her Aria award winning debut album “Been Waiting”.

In 2009 David set up and launched the Human Nature Motown show in Las Vegas and managed it to award winning success in 2011. Today he is preparing to find and develop a whole new generation of talent for the world stage. With offices in Sydney and Los Angeles the focus is on finding great new artists and helping them achieve worldwide success.
